Training: Advanced HVAC installations design with CAD and IntegraCAD 2005
CAD programmes are used in designing HVAC installations since the birth of personal computers. For many years such programs have existed separately but today more and more software packages integrate CAD with calculation modules. The combining of Integra’s interface with a CAD interface in 2001 resulted in a new package - IntegraCAD. The CAD module is used to make engineering calculations so the process of calculating is faster and much easier. Until today this has been one of the main advantages of the IntegraCAD package.
Since the IntegraCAD 2005 program version engineers have several opportunities of advanced design and drawing techniques (pipeline networks, floor and wall heating/cooling, manifolds, fan coils and other heating pipeline elements). As a part of this training the attendants will learn how to use CAD functions that allow fast drawing with the usage of already generated elements in the program. They will also learn about automatic pipeline dimensioning, automatic riser scheme generation, labelling sections and adjusting the CAD module for optimal results. The attendants will also learn about CAD functions for heat loss and gain calculations (room surface calculation, doors and windows lengths, floor heating surface planning etc.).
During the training attendants will learn about all basic CAD functions, the interaction with other CAD programs and making calculations with IntegraCAD using the CAD module. The training is supported by examples and headed by our technical assistant team. This one day training takes place in a fully equipped classroom where every attendant has his own computer to work on. All attendants will receive a written summary with all the relevant information on using the CAD module (explanations, techniques, drawing examples etc.) and instructions on making the calculation in IntegraCAD.
